Troubleshooting This Error
This form of Error [E990] occurs when a patient in your practice management software (Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft) has a name with punctuation or a special character in it like "Ming-Na," "Amanté," or "O'Connor." This is more common with Eaglesoft users.
To fix this issue so you can file your patient's forms:

In your practice management software, remove the punctuation or special character from the patient's name.

Close and reopen YAPI.
