Printing Postcards From the Mail Queue

After generating batches of postcards to the Mail Queue, learn how to print them. Read on to find out how.

Before you start, make sure...

  • Your printer is connected.
  • You have enough 4up sheets to print your postcards on. 4up templates have microperforated edges for easy break & tear when printing the postcards. The sheet itself is a normal size page 8.5" x 11" with each postcard measuring 5.5" x 4.25" (4 postcards/sheet). This type of paper is often ordered through a dental supplier with many design options on the front side, and a blank back side for printing and adding the recipient address.
  • If you are printing envelope postcards, have enough Address label sheets. 30 1" x 2-5/8" rectangular address labels (30 address labels/page, divided across 3 columns and 10 rows).

To print the postcards:

  1. Click on Mail Manager (envelope icon) on the YAPI Dashboard.

  2. Select the Queue option from the drop-down menu. You will get a list of the different batches that are ready for print.

  3. Click on the batch you want to print. A drop-down menu will appear.

  5. Select the printer you want to print to then click on the OK button.

  6. A popup appears telling you to get ready to print and provides you the number of 4up pages you need to have in your printer. Click on the Yes button.
