How to Create a Mobile Shortcut for POP

The Practice Online Portal (POP) works off a web-based platform that does not require any additional software installations to be run on mobile phones. POP by default does not come with a phone icon to access the bookmarked page, but it can be added after the fact through the browser of your choice. The following will show how mobile users can add a shortcut of POP on to their mobile phone's home screen.

Safari on iPhone and iPad

To add a Safari shortcut for POP:

  1. Tap on the Safari app icon, then navigate a web page to the Practice Online Portal website.

  2. Tap the Share icon Screen_Shot_2019-06-04_at_2.44.35_PM.png on the bottom of the screen, this will open a list of additional options on the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap the Add to Home Screen button, this will bring up a request to name the shortcut which can simply be labeled "POP".
