Enabling Text Forwarding After-Hours
Making sure you remain in contact with your patients can make or break your next day's appointment. In some cases, it is important to stay up to speed on the current status of confirmations and potential cancellations even outside office hours. A built-in feature within YAPI can help stay in contact with these incoming messages and is actually more accessible than you think. The following article will show how to enable After-Hours Text Forwarding.
How to Access Text Forwarding After-Hours

To access the Text Forwarding feature, open the YAPI Dashboard.

Click the Setup and Manage icon
at the top of the YAPI Dashboard and click the Global Setup option from the dropdown.

When prompted for a password, the password by default should be set as "password" all lower case.

Within the Global Setup window, click on the CT tab.

Click the Text Forward After-Hours button at the top right portion of the window.
Configuring Text Forwarding After-Hours
The Text Forwarding After-Hours window will request to fill in the contact information needed to receive the after-hours messages. The following options will be available.

Forward to Mobile Phone - Type in the mobile phone number that will be receiving after-hours messaging.

Forward to Email - Type in the email that will be receiving after-hours messaging.

Set Office Hours - Click here to open the Global Setup Practice tab, where the office hours of the practice can be edited.
NOTE: This will define when the After-Hour messages will appear.
Once the information is submitted, click the Save button on the bottom right.
