The brand new Phone Assistant is coming, called Phone Assistant 2.0! We were able to expand on the fundamentals that made the original Phone Assistant so useful and not only gave it a new coat of paint but also made interactions with your Practice Management Software and patients even easier!
New Look, Better Feel
|Phone Assistant 2.0 will have a new UI that is meant to be cleaner and easier to identify options. As you receive new phone calls, you will be able to identify key information about the caller, such as their name, family members, and their phone and email for further correspondence. Clicking on the avatar of the patient will expand additional information and new features unique to this new Phone Assistant.|
More Information, More Prepared
From here, an expanded window will open up with additional information relevant to the patient. Patient Information, Contact Information, Provider Information, Upcoming /Past Appointments, and Scheduled Recalls will all appear. A scrolling list of family members is also available below the selected patient, which can be cycled through to show their additional information as well. This accessible information will allow staff to have a better idea for the reason a patient may call, with information readily available to better assist with inquiries. Clicking the arrow to the left of the information window will also hide the additional information for a compact view.
|Unlike the earlier iteration of Phone Assistant, Phone Assistant 2.0 now has the ability to scroll through multiple calls in queue, making it manageable to handle multiple incoming callers at once.|
Practice Management Software Integration
|For Dentrix users, Dentrix modules will be available on the right-hand side of the window. Currently, Phone Assistant 2.0 is available only for Dentrix but there are plans to continue introducing additional support for OpenDental and Eaglesoft. The Appointment Book, Treatment Planner, Ledger, Family Tree, and Document Center will be able to show relevant information pertaining to the patient from an easy to access sidebar.|
How to get Phone Assistant 2.0?
The new Phone Assistant will be available for free to all current subscribers to Phone Assistant! If your Practice currently does not have Phone Assistant added to your YAPI subscription, you may schedule a demo with our Account Management team to see if Phone Assistant is right for your office.
