YAPI Configuration and Exceptions
The following article includes a setlist of configurations and exceptions to be implemented on the practice network. It is best to allow the Network Administrator or dedicated IT personnel to apply the changes.
Firewall

Confirm that the YAPI firewall exceptions were added into the Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Settings or with possible other firewalls such as SonicWall and Sophos.
NOTE: It is highly recommended that any port forwarding in relation to external firewalls be done by the network administrator or the practice's primary IT company.

Open the following ports:
80 - HTML
443 - TLS/SSL
547 - SMTP
18000, 18001, 18003 - YAPI-Proprietary Communication (TCP)
18002 - YAPI Discovery Broadcast (UDP)
18800, 18802 - YAPI-to-PMS Communication (TCP)
Antivirus

Confirm if the server is running an antivirus program such as Norton, McAfee, or Malwarebytes.

Temporarily disable these programs and restart the YService to test to see if the antivirus interacts with YAPI processes and POP.
- White list the following processes on the antivirus program then reactivate it:
