Viewing Appointments in the Practice Online Portal (POP)
The Practice Online Portal (POP) includes an Appointments page where you can view your practice's scheduled appointments. From POP, you can see which patients are scheduled, the status of their appointments, and additional appointment details without having to search in Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft! Follow the steps below to view your schedule and see a patient's appointment details.

Log into the Practice Online Portal.
Click Appointments in the left-hand menu:
Today's schedule: Click the magnifying glass icon or hit Enter on your keyboard:
The schedule for a different date: Click the date currently in the search field. In the calendar that pops up, select the appointment date you want to view. Then click the magnifying glass icon or hit Enter on your keyboard.
Your Appointments page shows each appointment scheduled for the selected day and includes:
- The patient's name
- Their appointment time
- Their appointment duration
- The code for the provider assigned to the appointment
- The appointment reason (scheduled procedures)
- A check mark in the Confirmed column if the appointment was confirmed
Tip: You can text all patients on this appointment date by entering a text message in the box at the bottom of the page and clicking Send!
Note: The New Patient column is no longer supported. This column previously displayed a crown icon if a patient was new to the practice.
Optional: To view the details of a patient's appointment, click their name in the list of scheduled appointments:
This displays additional details about the patient's appointment including their assigned operatory, the production amount, and any appointment notes you've added in Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft:
Tip: You can quickly get to a patient's Profile page in POP by clicking the Go to Record button at the bottom of the page:
