Viewing & Marking Care Calls as Done on the Practice Online Portal (POP)

The Care Call List allows you to note patients that need follow-up contact after an appointment. Using the Practice Online Portal (POP), you can view which of these patient records need to be contacted, information relevant to their callback, as well as mark the call as done once the patient has been contacted. Follow the steps below to learn how to navigate the Care Call features inside of POP.

Viewing Care Calls

  1. Log in to the Practice Online Portal.

  2. Click the Care Call button on the left navigation menu.

  3. A list displays care call patients for today's date.

    NOTE: The Care Call list also displays care calls that haven't been completed from days prior to today's date. Once marked complete, these are no longer displayed on the Care Call list.

Marking Care Calls as Done

  1. Log in to the Practice Online Portal.

  2. Click the Care Call button on the left navigation menu.

  3. A list displays care call patients for today's date. Click on a row to see additional details for a specific patient.

    NOTE: The Care Call list also displays care calls that haven't been completed from days prior to today's date. Once marked complete, these are no longer displayed on the Care Call list.

  4. Optional: If you haven't completed the Care Call to the patient, their phone number is shown here for you to call using your own phone or calling device.

  5. Once the Care Call has been completed, click the Mark Done button (mceclip1.png) on the bottom of the screen.

The patient’s row on the Care Call screen has a checkmark (mceclip0.png) in the Completed column. The care call has now been marked as done! To learn more on how to add care call requests for a patient's appointment inside of YAPI, visit Adding Patients to Your Care Call List
