Got a patient that wants to be added to an earlier appointment when available? The ASAP list on the Practice Management Software tags potential patients that can be brought into the office sooner for immediate appointment filling. Depending on the Practice Management Software, accessing the list within may take a lot of navigation of menus and submenus to find. YAPI, however, has the ASAP list readily available from the top-left corner of the Practice Dashboard.

Accessing the YAPI ASAP List
In the Practice Dashboard, click on the Patients button on the top-left corner of the window.
From the dropdown that appears, click on the ASAP List option. This will open the ASAP List within YAPI.
Clicking on the name of the patient can add a Patient Alert to the next time the patient checks in.
Clicking on either the mobile or email will open a communication window to contact the patient directly about coming to the office sooner.
Practice Management Software - Adding to ASAP
When viewing the Edit Appointment in Open Dental, click on the ASAP checkbox on the top-left corner of the Edit Appointment window. This will register this appointment into the ASAP list of potential patients.
When viewing the Patient Appointment in Eaglesoft, click on the Sooner if Possible checkbox on the left-hand side of the Patient Appointment window. This will register this appointment into the Quickfill list of potential patients.
When viewing Appointment Information in Dentrix, click on the Schedule dropdown in the middle of the Appointment Information window, then click on the ASAP option. This will register this appointment into the ASAP list of potential patients.
