Adding Images to an Email Template (Hosting Images Online)
To add an image to a YAPI email template, the image needs to be "hosted" online. This is just a fancy way of saying you're putting the image online so that your patients can access it in their email. Below, you'll learn how to host your image online using PostImage (a free service) and add the image to your email template either in the Dashboard or through the Practice Online Portal (POP).

Step 1: Hosting Your Image
You can use PostImage, a free online image hosting service, to upload your picture and convert the file to a web address (URL). PostImage doesn't require an account, but you can create a free one if you want to be able to view your image URLs again later. To host an image:
-
In your web browser (like Chrome, Edge, Firefox) navigate to postimages.org.
-
In the center of the page, change Do not resize my image to 640x480. Then, click the Choose images button.
-
In the window that pops up, select the image you want to use from your computer, then click Open.
-
Once the page reloads and you see an "Upload completed!" message, find the line labeled Direct Link and click the Copy button next to it.
-
Proceed to Adding the Image URL to an Email Template below.
