Enabling & Disabling Recall Reminders

Once you've set up your Recall Reminders with YAPI, there's not much need to switch them on or off.  But if you're just getting started with YAPI and haven't enabled your reminders yet - or if your office ever needs to close for an extended period of time - you can use the instructions below to enable and disable your Recall Reminders with just a few clicks.

If you're new to YAPI and haven't configured your Appointment Reminders yet, you'll want to check out Setting Up Recalls Reminders first.

Postponing Reminders by Resetting Their Start Date

If you ever need your Recall Reminders turned off temporarily, you can set their start date forward instead.  This way, you don't have to remind yourself to turn them back on again!

Warning!  Recall Reminders and Appointment Reminders are controlled by a single start date, so changing the date here will postpone both. If you want one off and not the other, you must enable and disable your reminders manually as shown above.

To pause all of your reminders temporarily and set a new date for them to restart:

  1. From the YAPI Dashboard, click the Setup and Manage Setup_and_Manage.png button and select Global Setup.

  2. When prompted, enter your YAPI password.

  3. In the Global Setup window, click the Reminders tab.

  4. Click the Edit button under More Options
