Editing the Instructions Page for Online Form Packages

When your patients open the link to one of your online form packages, they're taken to a page that provides their list of forms and instructions for filling them out:


You can edit the text of these instructions by following the steps below.

Important! Make sure your instructions are broad enough to apply to all of your online packages.  Instructions can't be edited for each individual paperwork package.

Editing the Instructions Page


  1. From the YAPI Dashboard, click Setup and Manage Setup_and_Manage.png and select Manage Documents and Templates.

  2. When prompted, enter your YAPI password and click Ok.

  3. In the Manage Documents and Templates window, navigate to the Online tab.

  4. Click Front Page and select Edit.


  5. If you don't see any text in the Package Front Page window, click Suggest to open the text of the current instructions page.


  6. Edit the existing text, leaving items in brackets [ ] < > alone.


    Warning! The items in brackets provide important links and formatting for the page.  Altering these could cause errors on the page.
  7. Click Save. When you see a message that the new text has been successfully uploaded, close the Package Front Page window.

  8. To preview your changes, click Front Page and select View.
