Customizing Available Operatory Alerts
By using Operatory Alerts in the YAPI Dashboard, you can easily request help from your team when you need it. YAPI already comes installed with a list of common Operatory Alert options you can use like "Assistance is needed," "Help me with probing," and "Op needs to be cleaned," but if you want, you can customize this list to best fit the needs of your practice. To adjust which options you have on your list when sending an Operatory Alert, follow the instructions below.
Note: Changes to your available Operatory Alerts apply to all workstations.

Customizing Your List of Operatory Alert Options
To edit your list of available Operatory Alerts:

From the YAPI Dashboard, click Setup & Manage and select Global Setup.

When prompted, enter your YAPI Password and click OK.

Navigate to the Op Alerts tab.

To add, edit, or delete an alert:

Adding a New Alert: Click the current Operatory Alert option below where you want your new alert to go. Then click Insert Alert:
Double-click into the empty space in the Alert Text column and type your new alert:

Editing an Existing Alert: Triple-click on the text of the alert you want to edit and type in your new text. Then tap Enter on your keyboard.

Deleting an Alert: Select the alert by clicking next to it in the left-hand column. Then, tap the Delete key on your keyboard.

Click Save, then OK.

Restart YAPI on your workstations to reflect the new changes to your operatory alerts.
