By default, YAPI's in-office messages automatically disappear from all workstation screens after 10 minutes so your desktops don't get cluttered. If you want, though, you can change the amount of time that these messages stay on screen for all practice workstations by following the steps below.
Important! This setting affects all workstations except those that have their own time limit set in Local Setup. For more information on setting the length of on-screen time for individual workstations, see our article Changing the Appearance of Message Notifications.

Changing the Length that Messages Stay On Screen
To change your practice's time-out setting for in-office messages:
From the YAPI Dashboard, click Setup and Manage and select Global Setup.
When prompted, enter your YAPI password and click OK.
In the Global Setup window that appears, navigate to the Options tab:
In the yellow Messaging section, change the number next to Timer to the number of minutes you want in-office messages to stay on screen:
Click Save, then OK.
